Promotion of citizen coexistence
Corporación OCASA - Local Youth Council NARP (Blacks, Afro-descendants, Raizales, and Palenqueros)
Safe spaces of inclusion where cultural and social processes are stimulated through sensory experiences and the transfer of ancestral knowledge, promoting the territorial reappropriation of the NARP community through alliances with various sectors, such as youth houses, cultural houses, and NGOs.
The objectives of this proposal are focused on establishing cultural spaces for sensory experiences, providing support through a youth reference group, redefining spaces to transfer ancestral knowledge and design a communication strategy to raise societal awareness.



The team

Haidther Yefferson Mosquera Machado
From Quibdó, Chocó, 20, Youth Advisor in Chapinero and studies environmental engineering. An active MLK scholar at Colombo Americano, he focuses on environmental and cultural policy and leads JOVA, a youth environmental group. Recently, he represented Colombia at the World Youth Festival in Russia, pushing for youth visibility in policy spaces.

Laura Valentina Duque Ruiz
Designer with complementary studies in digital narratives and visual computing at the Universidad de los Andes. Experience in the field of art and technology and have participated in creating spaces that facilitate knowledge sharing within the community and the development of creativity using art and gamification as a means.

Juan David Vargas Bulla
Industrial designer from Politécnico Gran Colombiano known for co-creative, cross-disciplinary development. His commitment to excellence in strategic design fuels his passion for research, innovation, and exploring cultural intersections within the design field.

Lorena Torres Téllez
Political scientist and graphic designer from the National University of Colombia, specializing in UX/UI design. She blends her love for research with design’s potential to drive social change. Her interests extend to gardening, where she finds inspiration and peace.

Germán González
Political Scientist and Social Communicator with a focus on strategic communication and public policy. He advises on legislative affairs and advocacy at Corporación OCASA, working with government and civil society on public policy, lobbying, and communication strategies.
